It may take up to one week for the appearance of your skin to return to “normal”. During the repair / renewal period you may or may not experience some of the following:
Stinging, itching, burning, slight pain, tightness, peeling, and scabbing of the superficial layer of skin. These sensations will gradually fade away of the course of the week as the skin returns to its normal appearance. If swelling occurs, use ice water compress for 24-48 hours intermittently as needed.
Use a mild soap to wash your face in a gentle manner for 30 seconds twice a day. You must lather the soap in your hands and pat the soap onto your face. Splash lukewarm water on your face to rinse the soap off. Dry your face by patting it with a clean towel.
